Victoria Beckham is releasing six new lipstick shades under the name Rouge Victoria, housed in a sculptural alabaster case, according to Elle. The shades include Coquelicot, a vibrant poppy; House Red, described as her go-to neutral; Héritage, a brick tone; Velours, a chocolate cherry; Pinot, a burgundy; and Minuit, a deep maroon. The line debuted on the runway paired with dewy, minimal-eye makeup.
Beckham said she wanted a red lipstick formula that wouldn't dry out her lips or need constant touch-ups, calling the shades "practical because it's not something that I have to constantly monitor." She credited designer Valentino Garavani with first pushing her toward red lipstick years ago at a black-tie event, saying it took her a long time to build the confidence to wear it.
