In her "Patient Zero" music video, which debuted at the 2026 VMAs, Taylor Swift wears a black silk Staud Evangeline Silk Midi Dress that retails for $595 on the brand's website, according to Glamour. The dress appears in one of the video's CD covers as part of Swift's wardrobe in the thriller, which also stars Dakota Johnson and Colin Farrell.
That price is lower than another piece from the same video: a $660 Gabriella Hearst cashmere Nevin Pointelle Knit Tank Top worn by both Swift and Johnson, a gap one fan called out online. Staud also sells a $325 camisole version of the dress that Swift previously wore on a date with Travis Kelce. The video marks the 18th music video Swift has self-written and directed; she also won video of the year and the inaugural Artist-Director Honor for "The Fate of Ophelia" at the same ceremony.
