Rihanna wore a thin, minimal stripe of bright red along her lower waterline at the Matières Fécales show on Sept. 28, paired with a neutral gold eyeshadow on her lids and black lashes.
A day later, Navarrette wore a dusty denim-blue version of the look at Dior that extended around her top lash line as well for a more monochromatic effect; celebrity makeup artist Kayli Rachelle reportedly used a limited-edition Dior eyeshadow as the liner itself, applied with more smudging than Rihanna's crisp line. Both looks kept the rest of the eye minimal, letting the colored waterline stand out.
