Makeup artist Kiersten Harvey, known as Skreem, created the look for North West's Dazed cover using thick black winged eyeliner, grey eyeshadow, lavender blush and four faux facial piercings, according to Dazed Beauty. Harvey said the look was meant to "amplify" West's existing style rather than create a new one, pointing to the 13-year-old's interest in piercings and gothic aesthetics.
Harvey, who began doing her own makeup at 14 after years of watching artists prep her for performances as a child singer, said her favorite base product is Charlotte Tilbury's Airbrush Flawless Finish pressed powder, which she stocks in every shade for her kit. She started working with West after a member of Kim Kardashian's team contacted her to fly to Paris for the Vetements Spring/Summer 2027 runway show during Paris Fashion Week.
