Kiehl's new 1cc CollaShot Plump Serum is a hot-pink gel that turns to a liquid on contact with skin, and the brand says it's formulated with recombinant collagen polypeptides to restore bounce in tired or sagging skin, vitamin B12 to brighten and smooth texture, and rhamnose to address wrinkles and loss of firmness. Kiehl's says the formula uses a proprietary "supra-liposomal" delivery system intended to give an instant plumping effect.
Glamour tested the serum on four editors with different skin types and concerns. Commerce writer Alanna Martine Kilkeary, who deals with discoloration and acne scarring, said that after a month of regular use her skin felt "bouncy and ultrasoft" with less noticeable fine lines and scarring, and that she skipped her next facial appointment as a result. Contributor Marie Louise Pumfrey, who has sensitive skin with dehydration and cheek sagging, said the serum left her skin firmer and bouncier.
