Jennifer Lawrence has launched a hair care line called Mes°, pronounced "mess," co-created with biologist and beauty-industry veteran Jasmina Aganovic, founder of the biotech lab Arcaea, according to NYLON. Lawrence said she was drawn to Aganovic's approach after watching a TED Talk in which Aganovic discussed treating hair as a biological material rather than simply coating it.
Mes° debuts with three products. The Off-Duty Restyling Serum, which Lawrence calls her "Floof Serum," is meant to calm frizz between washes while adding texture and standing in for hot tools. The Multitask Repair Mask is designed to give a wet-look finish while also delivering a hydrating treatment without downtime, according to Lawrence. The Good Roots Volume Mist is meant to address greasiness between washes while adding lift. Aganovic said the mask and mist both build cumulative benefits with repeated use.
