Heidi Klum revealed her 2026 Halloween costume at her 25th-anniversary party as a giant, gory severed hand sculpted to match her own down to her veins, her engagement and wedding rings, and a berry manicure, with her face peeking out near the wrist covered in prosthetics made to look like torn tissue and blood, according to Allure. Prosthetics designer Mike Marino, who has built Klum's costumes for years, said the piece was made of lightweight upholstery foam and latex weighing about 8 to 10 pounds, plus harnesses and silicone, with Klum operating mechanisms from inside to move it.
Marino said he sculpted two layers for the hand's severed end — one showing muscle, organs and fat, and a second with a deliberately goofy expression meant to give the design "a slightly comedic edge," like "a mutant muppet." He said the team began planning the costume as soon as Halloween 2025 ended and started the actual application around 3 p.m. Eastern time on Halloween before Klum debuted it that night; she later removed the oversized hand piece but kept the face makeup on for the rest of the party.
