Halle Berry's longtime hairstylist Renato Campora revealed her new cheek-length haircut on Instagram this week, a style known as the curtain crop that brings back her signature short fringe in a softer, more flared shape, according to Harper's Bazaar.
Celebrity hairstylist Adam Reed, whose clients include Madonna and Reese Witherspoon, described the curtain crop as a short, beautifully tailored haircut with softness and length left through the front, striking a balance between curtain bangs and a bob. He said the back and sides are cropped while the fringe stays longer and is opened through the center, with Berry's version incorporating a curly bob texture. Reed said the style works well for mature hair because it adds structure while leaving enough length at the front for versatile styling, whether pushed back, parted or left to fall naturally.
