Nail artist Mel Shengaris detailed the sheer, pearl-accented manicure for the ceremony and the marble, chain-adorned press-ons Cameron switched into later.
Dove Cameron married Italian musician Damiano David on Sept. 24 in Italy, and her nail artist, Mel Shengaris, created two distinct looks for the day, according to Who What Wear.
For the ceremony, Cameron wanted a natural, sheer "soapy" look to complement her Valentino gown. Shengaris used Après Base Gelcoat ($13), one coat of Light & Shadow Sheer Gel Couleur in Breathless ($15) and Builder Top Gelcoat ($15), then added a small pearl at the cuticle of each nail before curing the topcoat. She used the brand's Blush shade on Cameron's toes.
For the after-party, Cameron switched into press-on nails Shengaris made ahead of time in Los Angeles and flew to Italy, applying them over the gel wedding manicure with sticky tabs so they could be removed later without disturbing the original set. The look used almond-shaped Gel-X tips painted with Astral Gel Couleur in Celestial ($13), with a dotting tool swirled into the uncured gel to create a marble pattern, finished with chain accents.
Cameron grew her natural nails long while in Italy ahead of the wedding before Shengaris trimmed and shaped them into a soft almond shape for the ceremony look.
