Daisy Edgar-Jones is wearing what's being called the "Elinor haircut" while promoting a new adaptation of Jane Austen's Sense and Sensibility, in which she plays protagonist Elinor Dashwood, ahead of the film's theatrical release this month, according to Glamour. The look keeps Edgar-Jones' usual dainty, lash-skimming curtain bangs and tumbling lengths, but adds organic, windswept texture: the bangs are worn mussed and flicked rather than sleek, and the lengths are loosely curled with a slightly unkempt finish, nodding to the soft, romantic hair associated with the Regency era.
To recreate the texture, the style calls for running a priming styling cream through the lengths, then braiding the hair into two pigtails and leaving them overnight or for a few hours before taking them down. Individual pieces can then be curled at random with a curling iron and teased out so they don't look too polished.
