Valentino named actor Colman Domingo the face of its new limited-edition Born in Roma Ruby duo, according to Elle. The launch includes Born in Roma Donna, described as an ambery floral with notes of strawberry, jasmine and vanilla, and Born in Roma Uomo, a woody gourmand built around raspberry and lavender.
Domingo said Uomo is the one he reaches for daily. "Some scents can at times feel too heavy, powerful, or potent," he said. "This is an everyday scent. I notice that when I wear it, it makes people around me feel good. It makes you feel yummy." He added that he varies his fragrance by role and keeps his personal scent choices deliberate, saying he's "obsessive" about matching a scent to how he wants to be felt when he embraces someone.
