Olivia Rodrigo posted a TikTok teaser for her "Expectations" remix with Chappell Roan, set to release Thursday, Oct. 15, along with its music video, according to Allure. In the clip, set to a snippet of "Heated Rivalry" with Rodrigo playing Shane and Roan playing Ilya, the pair reveal their looks: Rodrigo's nails are short and cherry red, while Roan's are ultra-long and shimmery platinum-silver, with fluffy hot pink feathers glued to the base of each nail. It isn't the first time Roan has worn feathered nails — she wore skinny white plumage on her nails for a Tonight Show appearance in 2024, paired with avian-inspired makeup.
The teaser also shows Rodrigo in Bettie Page-style micro bangs with pastel blue eyeshadow applied up to her brows, a departure from her usual loose waves and subtle makeup, while Roan wears pale green eyeshadow with graphic eyeliner, pink blush and high-contrast strawberry blonde streaks in her red hair.
