The Autumn/Winter 2026 runway look favors beige and brown tones and a blurred finish over the dewy, glowing bases that have dominated recent seasons.

A makeup style dubbed "cashmere makeup" appeared across multiple Autumn/Winter 2026 runway shows, including Ottolinger, Akris, Shiatzy Chen and Situationist, according to Who What Wear.

The look is built on beige and brown hues with a blurred, soft-focus finish, favoring flushes of color over heavily pigmented tones, and sits somewhere between matte and dewy without the glow or shimmer typical of recent makeup trends.

Professional makeup artists have already applied the look on celebrities including Laura Harrier, Sadie Sink, Barbara Palvin and Mia Goth.

The aesthetic is built around a soft-focus, velvety base in neutral tones meant to evoke the look and feel of a cashmere knit, avoiding harsh lines or shimmery bases in favor of a natural, diffused finish suited to colder months.
