Beyoncé's haircare brand Cécred made its first international retail expansion this month, landing in 90 stores across the UK and Ireland, according to Dazed Beauty. The UK is already Cécred's second-largest market after the US, despite the brand having launched only last year.

To mark the launch, Cécred set up at London's Salt Salon, where Dazed's fashion writer had his hair styled by Beyoncé's hairstylist and met the singer's mother, Tina Knowles. He said the brand's Detangling Spray was lightweight enough to comb out his afro in a fraction of the usual time, and that the Moisture Sealing Lotion gave his curls more definition than other products he'd tried, alongside praise for the Hair and Scalp Balm and Scalp Refreshing Spray.

Alongside its existing shampoos, conditioners and treatments, the UK launch introduces Temple Oud Hair Perfume, Cécred's first fragrance product and a bottled version of the warm, woody scent used throughout the range.
